Ladies Minutes

Flags in place and doors secure by SGT at Arms Della Marvel. Betty, Parker, Chaplin, led us in opening prayer. Pledge of Allegiance and the Preamble were recited. A moment of silence was observed for past deceased members.

 

Communications: Polly West (Teri Berkley’s mom) was taken to Carbondale ER. Heart stent done. Last report is that she is doing fine. Check received from the family of John McCutchen for funeral dinner $200.00. Reading of March minutes by Secretary Tammy Tabor. They were approved and filed. Reading of the Treasurers report by President Donna Mabry in absence of Beverly Forrest. Miles approved and filed.

 

Birthdays for April: Sharon Joiner, Karen Walker, Mary Lou Layne, Ann Williams, Carmilee Carr, and Sara Jacbobs.

 

New Business: So far, the cost of remodeling the ladies bathroom is $900.00. Donna Beltz’s husband and some of the men from the Legion will be helping him. Joyce Mutchek has scholarship forms and will place them out in the bar and check on the due date. Election committee of officers for upcoming year will be setup at next meeting in May. Server/Hostess for May meeting will be Tammy Tabor. President Donna Mabry went through envelope, nothing voted on. Completion of reports due by May 5^th. April 21^st meeting at 2:30pm at Legion to work on reports was set. June 5^th, poppy report due.

 

Late Communications: Otto Lenich reported had heart attack. Della Marvel made a motion to discontinue with gift giving at monthly meeting, Tammy Tabor seconded motion and it was passed.

 

With no further business, Betty Parker gave closing prayer. Meeting closed at 7:40pm.
